WE CAN help every child in Ellis County be prepared to learn. TOGETHER.

Many families in our district need help to provide basic back to school supplies needed for their student’s success, which is why each year, Manna House orchestrates the delivery of supplies for more than 2600 students in our area. August will be here before you know it and that means paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks, and more! We invite you to help Manna House make our annual Mayor’s Back to School Bash a success.

This free event is open to all MISD students and will include rides, face painting, candy cannon, water slides, games, and local talent showcase – to name a few attractions.

Manna House relies on the support of our community which so generously supports our missions through sponsorships, financial and material donations, and gifts of personal time. By donating $65, you can provide a complete school supply kit for an MISD student in need of our support. Donations must be received by August 1st to ensure all students receive their supplies before classes begin.

The Back to School Bash day of activities is open to all. Families must pre-register in order to receive free school supplies. To pre-register, contact Manna House directly:

Need Assistance?

Manna House, Midlothian Community Development Corporation and the Mayor invite local churches, businesses, organizations to present an activity, game, freebie, etc. for kids at the event. Be part of the Midlothian community by welcoming back the children of Midlothian Independent School District.

Participation is free for non-profits, churches and schools groups. Vendors must provide their own 10×10 tent and electrical source, if needed. Email info@mannahouseoutreach.org for more information!

Booth Registration

We are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of positions to help make this year’s event a success. We need people of all ages on Saturday, August 5th. Volunteers can help to run the games and activities, help with check-in of volunteers/vendors, assist with food service and more.
