Back to School Bash
WE CAN help every child in Ellis County be prepared to learn. TOGETHER.
Many families in MISD need help with basic back-to-school supplies. Being prepared to return to school is essential for student success, which is why Manna House orchestrates the delivery of supplies for more than 2600 students in our area each year. August will be here before you know it, and that means paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks, and more! We invite you to help Manna House make our annual Mayor’s Back to School Bash a success.
This free event is open to all MISD students and will include rides, face painting, a free food pantry, games and more!
Manna House relies on the support of our community which so generously supports our missions through sponsorships, financial and material donations, and gifts of personal time. By making a donation, you can provide free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, groceries, and more to an MISD student in need of our support. Donations must be received by August 1st to ensure all students receive their supplies before classes begin.
The Mayor’s Back to School Bash day of activities is open to all. Back-to-school supplies, including free backpacks, will be available for Midlothian ISD students while supplies last. No pre-registration is required. For more information, contact Manna House directly by calling 972-775-1800 or emailing info@mannahouseoutreach.org.
We rely on sponsorships to make this event possible! Click below to learn more about sponsorship opportunties for local businesses.
Manna House, Midlothian Community Development Corporation and the Mayor invite local churches, businesses, and organizations to present an activity, game, freebie, etc. for kids at the event. Be part of the Midlothian community by welcoming back the children of the Midlothian Independent School District.
Participation is free for non-profits, churches and school groups. Vendors must provide their own 10×10 tent and electrical source if needed.
BOOTH REGISTRATION IS CLOSED AT THIS TIME.
Volunteer for a day! We are looking for event volunteers to help in a variety of positions to help make this year’s event a success. We need people of all ages on Saturday, August 3rd. Volunteers can help to run the games and activities, help with check-in of volunteers/vendors, assist with food service and more.
